Stress Away Scrub

This scrub is great for those days when you just want to come home from work (or get away from whoever!), pour yourself a glass of wine, and take a bath by yourself. In this body scrub, I use the Young Living essential oil blend Stress Away. It’s a combination of vanilla and lime, with a bit of tropical and citrus. I find it very relaxing and even use the oil neat (straight, without a carrier oil) on my wrists when I’m stressed at work.

Try out this scrub and let me know how you like it! I’d love to hear from you!

This recipe makes 4 – 8oz. mason jars. Good for gifts!

2 1/2 cups superfine sugar (or regular granulated sugar put through a food processor to make fine sugar)

1 1/2 cupsĀ grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil

1 tbsp honey

10-15 drops Young Living Stress Away essential oil blend

3-5 drops Young Living Peppermint essential oil

Place the sugar, grapeseed or sweet almond oil, and honey in a large glass bowl and mix thoroughly. Once mixed, add in your essential oils and mix again, very thoroughly. Store your mixture in an airtight container, such as a large mason jar.
